The Appalachian Trail - Georgia to Maine
Wander a whole summer if you can. The time will not be taken from the sum of life. Instead of shortening, it will definitely lengthen it by making you truly immortal.
At the end of March, I embarked on my biggest adventure yet. I set out to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail starting at Amicalola Falls, Georgia and finishing on the top of Mount Katahdin in Maine. This journey was to take 5-6 months to complete the approximate 2200 miles and I was hoping to finish on September 11, 2018, my 30th birthday. Unfortunately, I discovered that i had some big alignment issues in my body that led to a lot of pain and my joints just not working right to carry me and my pack through the mountains. After about 90 miles I decided to come home, work with a physical therapist to address my issues and head back out next year fully prepared. I also realized once I was out there that I did not have the finances in place to complete the entire trail.
Hiking the Appalachian Trail has been a huge dream of mine for many years and this is very near and dear to my heart. No doubt it is going to be a life changing experience in many ways. If you would like to support me on this grand adventure there are a couple ways: You can work with me through my health and wellness services. This not only provides me with the financial means for such a huge undertaking but also helps me as well to grow personally and in my business. I also have a Paypal link below where you can donate to help fund my dream if you feel so generous. And last, but not least, your encouragement and support of any kind really adds to this experience and is really amazing. Be sure to follow along on Instagram for up to date clips of my prep and my hike once I get out there. Thank you so much for being here with me. xoxo I appreciate you :)
